non-profit fundraisers

A fundraiser people actually want to go to. ;)

Tired of the same cookie-dough-and-wrapping-paper routine? Something Made partners with Bay Area PTAs, school foundations, nonprofits, and community organizations to host craft night fundraisers that people really look forward to. You sell the tickets, keep the revenue, and we handle everything else—supplies, instruction, setup, and cleanup. All you have to do is show up!

How it works:

You sell the tickets, we do the rest.

What your community will make

Here's the full picture: you pick a date, we agree on a craft, and you sell tickets to your community at whatever price works for your fundraising goal.

On the night of the event, Something Made arrives early, sets up every station, leads your guests through a guided craft workshop, and cleans up completely before we leave.

Your guests walk away with something they made with their hands, and Your organization walks away with real money.

Every event features one guided craft—we rotate our menu regularly so repeat events always feel fresh. Popular fundraiser options include:

Block print of Golden Gate bridge with red ink

BLOCK PRINTING

Participants create their own rubber stamp that can be used for making prints, cards, or even tote bags! (Totes incur an additional materials fee)

EMBROIDERED TOTE BAGS

We use hot glue to make a puffy design on the tote bag, then participants embroider around the dried glue, which creates a 3-D look.

Up to 15 guests

Something Made fee: $450

Suggested Ticket Price: $45-55

Your potential profit: $225-375

WOOD BURNED CUTTING BOARDS

Everyone uses a handheld wood-burning tool to burn a design into their own cutting board. Very beginner friendly!

PAINTED PLATES

Participants paint a plate with a design of their choice. They need to bake it in the oven at least 24 hours later, but once baked, the paint is food safe!

PAPER COLLAGE ART

We bring tons of different papers (some pre-cut into shapes) and people go wild making a thoughtful collage.
